Brent Pennington

Head of Tech Support

Meet the mastermind behind the Technical Support department—Brent Pennington, our very own Head of Technical Support here at Anchor Wave. He's been making waves since 2021, and his tech expertise is a force to be reckoned with, especially when the digital ones and zeros start acting up.

With over 15 years of IT experience, Brent is the master of creative problem-solving, especially when it comes to crafting and managing websites. From servers to CSS, he has a knack for making technology dance to his tune.

As the Head of Technical Support, Brent is always working towards a singular goal: how to make things better.  Although you may not always see him, he is busy in the background ensuring that our clients' virtual storefronts are safe, running smoothly, and that the welcome mat is always out. He's got a top-notch support team that he guides with finesse, and he is proud of their high-quality work and exceptional service.

Beyond the digital realm, you'll find Brent embracing the elements in the state parks and wildlands surrounding his Scranton, PA, home. When he's not at the computer, he finds joy in the simple pleasures of birding, woodworking, and kayaking. His adventures have spanned the northeast, and taken him to Europe and most recently to Scotland.

If he had a motto, he'd likely borrow the words of Butch Cassidy from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”: “I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals.” That's his anthem as he navigates the intricacies of tech (and life), proving that sometimes all you need is a dash of vision to stand out in a world of blurred perspectives.

When we saw almost all of our partners shift their way of doing business, we went remote. What we saw is more intention when it came to culture, communication, and planning. Things we took for granted or simply dismissed while we were in the office were crucial for performance now…
