Sales Representative – Phoenix, AZ

Role (overview of the position):

As a Web Strategist at Anchor Wave, you are the front line of business development. You play the key role in connecting clients with digital strategies that help them grow. You’ll work to understand what matters most to business owners and recommend tailored solutions in web design, digital marketing, and online reputation management that align with their goals.

This is a consultative sales role focused on relationship-building, problem-solving, and delivering value. You’ll drive new business through a combination of inbound lead conversion, outbound prospecting, and strategic networking. That includes building referral partnerships, attending local business events and networking groups, and becoming a trusted resource in the Phoenix business community.

We’re looking for a seasoned, relationship-driven sales professional with a strong track record of exceeding targets and selling high-value, solution-based services. You should be comfortable managing long sales cycles, navigating complex buying decisions, and maintaining a full and healthy pipeline.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Sales Director and in-house Sales Support team to close deals and ensure a smooth client onboarding process. Success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals—but always with integrity. Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Offer solutions that directly align with each client’s goals, challenges, and growth opportunities—you’re not just selling services, you’re guiding them toward success
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by nurturing inbound leads, conducting outbound outreach, and establishing strategic referral relationships that create steady new business opportunities.
  • Support and grow existing client accounts by understanding evolving needs, identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities, and staying connected to their long-term success.
  • Organize and execute a daily and weekly outreach plan to engage with prospects, follow up on open opportunities, and build a consistent rhythm of activity that leads to closed deals.
  • Keep sales leadership informed through regular reporting—daily call logs, weekly pipeline updates, and monthly/quarterly performance summaries that track against territory and revenue goals.
  • Stay sharp and ahead of the curve by continuously building your knowledge of our services, products and solutions
  • Represent Anchor Wave in the Phoenix business community through in-person networking events, local partnerships, and professional associations that help you connect with decision-makers and build our brand.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales support team—both remotely and occasionally in-person—to ensure timely proposals, seamless onboarding, and exceptional service delivery that reflects the Anchor Wave standard.

Requirements:

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in consultative, solution-based, or high-value service environments—you’re confident guiding clients through complex decisions that impact their business
  • A team-first mindset with an abundance mentality—you believe in collaboration, shared wins, and contributing to a positive, growth-focused culture
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport quickly, read the room, and communicate with empathy and clarity
  • A self-starter attitude with the discipline and focus to manage your time, priorities, and pipeline effectively in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Solid understanding (or quick learner) of digital services like web design, SEO, and online marketing—enough to speak confidently with clients and recommend the right solutions
  • Comfort with CRM tools, especially HubSpot—you keep your deals organized, your follow-ups timely, and your data clean
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written—you know how to ask the right questions, tell a compelling story, and close with confidence
  • A professional, reliable home office setup that allows for client meetings, virtual collaboration, and focused work time
