Zac Somerville

Client Success Coordinator

As Client Success Coordinator, Zac helps guide clients through Anchor Wave’s proven processes with energy, clarity, and a steady focus on results. He works closely with clients to uncover the right marketing strategies and positioning for their business, then helps communicate progress in a way that keeps everyone aligned and moving forward.

Zac also supports the team as a copywriter, helping shape buyer personas, brand voice, tone, and messaging through the lens of each client’s marketing strategy. With more than five years in marketing, he brings enthusiasm, optimism, open communication, technical know-how, and a genuine love of working with people to every conversation.

When Zac was 10, he wanted to be an astronaut—and, honestly, he still does. His fascination with space has never really gone away, and he still gets excited about missions like Artemis II, especially the incredible photos and videos that come back from space. That curiosity and sense of wonder also show up in his work. And should he ever make it beyond Earth’s atmosphere, we hope he takes Anchor Wave with him and shares us “interglobally” 🙂

Zac brings value to clients through the energy and reassurance he brings to each conversation. He wants clients to feel confident that whatever problem they are facing can be solved. Whether he is getting everyone on the same page, troubleshooting an issue, or finding a creative path forward, Zachary enjoys the process of problem solving and turning uncertainty into action.

His colleagues would describe him as energetic, hardworking, funny, intelligent, and solution-oriented. He is also surprisingly good with technology, from building computers to tracking down answers when something is not working quite right. For Zac, creativity often shows up through problem solving, whether he is working with a client, cooking, fixing something on his car, or tackling a challenge in a video game.

Zac’s personal motto is, “The only way out is through.” He believes it is better to address challenges directly so solutions can start taking shape. He also keeps Kobe Bryant’s words in mind: “I’d rather go 0-for-30 than 0-for-9. If you go 0-for-9, that means you stopped shooting. That means you lost confidence.”

When we saw almost all of our partners shift their way of doing business, we went remote. What we saw is more intention when it came to culture, communication, and planning. Things we took for granted or simply dismissed while we were in the office were crucial for performance now…
